HOW TO READ=20 THE YEARLY CHART WHEEL

In the Mystic Quadrate = wheel chart=20 itself you will notice that it is set up similarly to an astrological = wheel and=20 its 12 houses. If you begin the 1st house at the 9:00 position and count = the=20 houses counterclockwise around the wheel, you will see that every house = has its=20 own ruler. Mercury period rules the first house, Venus period  rules the second house, Mars = period=20 rules the third house, Jupiter period rules the 4th house, and so forth = thru out=20 the rest of the wheel.

In order to understand the = chart and=20 its symbols, enter the birth date of George W. Bush (July 6, 1946) in = the=20 chart.  We'll put his age = in for the=20 year 2000, which would make him 54 at the time. Now we will read the = wheel=20 starting from the very center, outwards.

THREE CIRCLES=20 AT THE CENTER OF THE WHEEL

If you will look at the = very center=20 of the wheel, you will notice three circles there. The top circle should = say 9=20 of Diamonds. This is his birth card. (You will also see that it is = repeated=20 again at the very top of the page in the Natal Birth Card box). Right = underneath=20 this

circle you will see a = small "s".=20 This stands for the Soul card which is the Jack of Clubs. To the right = you will=20 see a small "L". This circle indicates the Life card, which is the Ten = of=20 Hearts.

SOUL=20 CARD

Now moving outward in the = chart=20 wheel, you will see, starting with the first house, the cards - Queen of = Clubs,=20 King of Clubs, Ace of Diamonds, 2 of Diamonds, 3 of Diamonds and so = forth around=20 the wheel. These cards are the equivalent of the Soul card at the center = of the=20 wheel, except they belong to the card in the big circles that are within = each=20 house around the chart. For example, just as the Jack of Clubs belongs = to the 9=20 of Diamonds, so does the Queen of Clubs belong to the Queen of Hearts in = the=20 first house as ITS Soul card. If we continue on to the second house, we = can see=20 that the King of Clubs is the Soul card for the 8 of Diamonds, which = lies in the=20 big circle for the 2nd house. And similarly, each card will have the = same=20 relationship to the card in the circle for that house as you move thru = out the=20 wheel.

DIRECT=20 CARDS

For Bush's chart, at age = 54, we=20 would go to the 54th Quadrate and start counting the cards to the left = of the=20 natal birth card placement. This would give us the 12 Direct planetary = cards=20 that will fill in each one of those big circles in every house, starting = with=20 the first house. You can also double check this by clicking on the link = that=20 says PLATES (in blue) at the top of the chart. This will open up a = Quadrate=20 Plate window, where you can enter any Quadrate you need too look at. = Make sure=20 you have the 54th plate

open by entering the = number 54 in=20 the box and pressing the TAB key. Then look for Bush's natal birth card, = the 9=20 of Diamonds. Once you find it, start counting from the left of it = horizontally.=20 You will notice how each card corresponds to the card in the big circles = that go=20 around the chart starting from the 1st house, where you will see the = Queen of=20 Hearts in the first circle. Then the 8 of Diamonds for the second circle = in the=20 second house, then the 4 of Spades for the third circle of the third = house,=20 etc.

VERTICAL=20 CARDS

Right outside of the big = circle in=20 every house is another Card placement. In Bush's chart, if you look at = his first=20 house, where the Direct Placement of the Queen of Hearts is, right = outside of=20 that circle is the 7 of Hearts. This indicates the Vertical placement = for the=20 natal birth card, 9 of Diamonds. To double check this we again go to the = Quadrate window on the chart page and click on it. Go to the 54th = Quadrate again=20 and look for Bush's birth card, the 9 of Diamonds. Now count UPWARDS = from the=20 birth card and you will see how it corresponds to the cards right = outside the=20 big circles in every house. One of the things that separate this system = from any=20 other is that when counting verticals, we do NOT go back down to the = same column=20 again to continue the count upwards, but rather move over one to the = LEFT and=20 start counting from the bottom up again. This makes a big difference in = the card=20 layout!

SEASONAL=20 CARDS

As we move outward in the = wheel, you=20 will see 4 divisions in each house as it goes from the first house to = the 7th=20 and stops. Each one of those divisions represents a time period of 13 = days. All=20 four divisions for each house totals a 52 day period. These are the = equivalent=20 time periods that are reflected in the boxes at the bottom of the chart = page=20 where it says Planetary Periods - 52 Days.

These time periods are = found by=20 looking them up in tables which are included in Thomas Morell's books. = As you=20 can see in Bush's chart, the 5 of Hearts indicates the 1st 13 days of = the=20 Mercury period, the 3 of Spades indicates the 2nd "13 Day" span, the 6 = of=20 Diamonds indicates the 3rd "13 Day" time span and the Ace of Spades = shows the=20 last 13 days of the Mercury period. In order to find the equivalent date = that=20 this will fall, you merely look at the bottom boxes for the planetary = periods=20 and see what month and day it falls into for that year. Another thing to = note is=20 that if you total up all these divisions from the first house to the = 7th, you=20 will come out to a full year or 364 days (not including leap=20 year).

THE=20 OUTERS

The outer cards are = represented by=20 the circles in grey in the upper part of the chart. You will notice that = they do=20 not have the smaller divisions in each of them as they indicate what = will happen=20 as an overall yearly indicator, each one casting its own influence for = that=20 particular year ahead. These include (starting at the 8th house), Pluto, = Trans-Pluto, Magi Crown, the Moon, and Phoenix.

LIFE=20 CARDS

At the outer rim of the = wheel, you=20 will see cards that circumvent the outside of the chart. For example you = will=20 see the 10 of Diamonds between Mercury and Venus in the first house. = Then you=20 will see the 8 of Spades in the second house between Venus and Mars, = then the=20 Ace of Hearts between Mars and Jupiter, etc., around the wheel. These = cards are=20 known as the LIFE cards. They belong to the card in the big circle for = each=20 house, similar to the way the Life card, 10 of Hearts, belongs to the 9 = of=20 Diamonds in the center circle of the chart. In Bush's chart, the Life = Card=20 belongs to the Queen of Hearts in his first house; the 8 of Spades = belongs to=20 the 8 of Diamonds in the second house; the Ace of Hearts belongs to the = 4 of=20 Spades in the 3rd house, etc.

PLANETARY=20 SYMBOLS

Starting from the first = house=20 placement which is read at the 9:00 position, you will see a symbol. = This is the=20 symbol for Mercury.

The second house symbol is = Venus;=20 the third house symbol is Mars; the fourth house symbol is Jupiter; the = 5th=20 house symbol is Saturn; the 6th house is represented by Uranus; the 7th = house=20 symbol is Neptune. From the 8th house on, the name of the symbol is = listed in=20 the particular house that it represents.

4- = YEAR=20 CARD

At the upper left portion = of the=20 chart wheel is a box labeled 4 -Year Card. It represents the Saturn = cycle of 28=20 years. Each of the 7 planetary periods in a Saturn progression would = have an=20 influence of 4 years (28 divided by 7 equals 4). There are two cards in = the 4=20 Year box. The upper card represents the Direct placement and the lower = card=20 represents the Vertical placement. At the right of this box you will see = P/Q.=20 The 'P" indicates that the period that rules this 4 year time in Bush's = life is=20 Neptune. Neptune is 7 positions over from the Mercury position as you = can see in=20 the Planetary 52 Days period table at the bottom of the page. The "Q" = indicates=20 that this is the Quadrate to look for his birth card for this 4- year = card. You=20 can double check this by clicking the Quadrate window at the top of the = page=20 labeled PLATES. Go to the first Plate and look up his birth card, the 9 = of=20 Diamonds. Because the Neptune period is 7 positions over from the = Mercury one,=20 we count 7 positions to the left (not counting the birth card), which = will=20 indicate the 8 of Diamonds. If we count it vertically UP for the = vertical=20 placement, you will end up at the 5 of Clubs which represents the bottom = card in=20 the box.

13- YEAR=20 CARD

At the upper right hand = corner of=20 the chart, you will see a box labeled "13 year Card". This box reflects = the Life=20 Progression which is a 91- year influence, broken down to 7 planetary = periods of=20 13 years each. In Bush's chart, we can see that the planetary period = that rules=20 this time in his life is Saturn. Look to the bottom of the chart again = and note=20 where Saturn falls in relation to the Mercury column. It is 5 positions = over.=20 Being that this is a Life progression, you will always refer to the Life = Quadrate as it spans the whole life, in groups of 13 years, for each = planetary=20 period. To double check, go to Plate 0 on the Quadrate window (which is = the same=20 as the Life Quadrate) and look up the 9 of Diamonds, Bush's birth card. = Since=20 Saturn is 5 positions over from the Mercury column, use that amount of=20 placements to count over for his direct card. You will see that it comes = to the=20 4 of Hearts. For the vertical placement, count UP 5 positions to get the = Queen=20 of Clubs.

SYNASTRY=20 CARD

This card is easy to find. = Simply=20 look at Bush's birth card in his 54th Quadrate and note the card just = before it=20 in the Quadrate. In his case, it will be the 10 of Hearts. The Synastry = Card=20 represents a supportive influence in the person's life and can be used = with=20 wisdom and intuition to really move ahead. It acts as a helping hand to = get you=20 where you want to go.

YEARLY=20 CARD

At the bottom right of the = wheel you=20 will see a box labeled the Yearly Card. It is the equivalent of a Solar=20 Progression and rules the 7 planetary periods of 52 days or the overall = year in=20 question in the person's life. At the left of this box you will see P/Q = again.=20 This

indicates that in Bush's = chart,=20 Uranus rules the year for him and is found in the 7th Quadrate. To = double check=20 this, simply look for his birth card in 7th Quadrate and since Uranus = lies 6=20 positions over from Mercury at the bottom of the Planetary Periods table = chart=20 on the page, you count over 6 spaces for the direct planet, which comes = to the 3=20 of Spades. Then count up 6 spaces for the Vertical placement which comes = to the=20 2 of Hearts.

PLANETARY=20 PERIODS TABLE

As previously indicated, = this table=20 divides up the first 7 houses of the wheel into specific time periods = that are=20 ruled by the planets that head each house for that time frame. The birth = date of=20 the person will always be the first date in the Mercury period box. The = second=20 date is 52 days away from the birth date which comes to August 27th and = is ruled=20 by his Venus period. The next period of Mars is again 52 days away from = the=20 Venus period and so forth down the line.

PLANETARY SIGN=20 CARD

The Planetary Sign Card = box is found=20 at the top portion of the page right under the natal birth card box, = which is=20 the 9 of Diamonds in his chart. The Queen of Hearts is his Planetary = Sign card=20 and acts as an important secondary influence in the chart or simply = something=20 else that is going on at the same time as other important events in his = life. It=20 is the card in the Life Chart that falls under the planetary position = that rules=20 the Sign of the Zodiac that the person is born = under.

PLANETARY=20 NUMBER CARD =20

Underneath the Planetary = Sign Card=20 is the Planetary Number Card. It is simply the card in the Life Chart or = Spread=20 that falls under the planetary position that rules (by planet), the = number of=20 the day that the person was born on. He was born on the number "6" day.=20 Therefore the card that rules this number for his birth card, the 9 of = Diamonds,=20 is the 2 of Clubs and is indicated in this box.

SPIRIT=20 RETURN

At the upper right hand = corner of=20 the page you will see the Spirit Return box. In order to find this, you = go to=20 the Spirit Plate and look for his birth card, the 9 of Diamonds. Note = the=20 placement of it and then flip back to his 54th Quadrate. The card that = is now in=20 that placement becomes the Spirit Return. In Bush's chart this will be = the 9 of=20 Spades.

RETURN=20 CARDS

On the right hand side of = the page=20 going down in a column of planetary periods are the Return Cards. These = are=20 simply the cards that have fallen in the boxes occupied by the original = life=20 Chart. In order to find the Return Cards for Bush's chart, go to his = 54th=20 Quadrate and look for his birth card in the Life position, which is the = smaller=20 card in the lower right hand position of the card. You will find this = card for=20 Bush's chart on the Uranus row, Mars column. The bigger card says King = of Hearts=20 in it. This represents the Sun Return card and falls in the first = position. The=20 planet to the left of it in a Direct format would be the King of Clubs = for the=20 Mercury Return card. This continues on as if we were doing a direct = array, until=20 the boxes are filled. Each card then represents the return for that = planetary=20 period.

QUADRATE=20 PLATES

At the top of the page, = you will see=20 a little blue link that will open up a window showing the Quadrates. You = can=20 select any number Quadrate of your choice. Simply enter a number up to = 90 and=20 press the TAB key. This will open up the correct Quadrate. If you want = the=20 SPIRIT plate, just enter SP and it will take you there. If you want the = LIFE=20 plate, enter the number zero as this is the same = plate.

HOW TO PRINT=20 OUT THE CHART

In order to get the = background image=20 to print out with the birth data from your browser when you hit the = PRINT=20 button, you must do the following first:

1. Go into your browser = and click on=20 the "Tools" Menu

2. Select "Internet=20 options"

3. Click on the "Advanced" = tab.

4. Scroll down to where = you can=20 check to "Print Background Colors and Images"

This should now allow you = to print=20 out everything on the page. If you do not do this, you will simply get = the data=20 itself and not the background image of the wheel = image!

SUGGESTIONS TO=20 MAKE YOUR PROGRAM RUN BETTER

A few suggestions to get = this site=20 to work properly for you.

1) You should have an updated = browser =96=20 preferably Internet Explorer 6.0 and above, if you are on a PC. You can = download=20 the latest version for free at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/ie6/default.asp=20 . Netscape and AOL=92s browser will not render it correctly, so we = strongly=20 discourage you from trying to access the site with those browsers. If = you have a=20 Mac, it will work, but you should use Internet Explorer 5.2, which only = works on=20 Max OS X. You can download the Mac version of Internet Explorer at = Mactopia (see=20 http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/ie/ie_main.asp?embFName=3Dget= .asp&contonly=3D1=20  ).

2) You must have scripting = activated as=20 it makes extensive use of Javascript.

3) It is also suggested that = you use a=20 screen resolution of 1024 x 768. It will work on other resolutions, but = you=92ll=20 have to scroll around more to view everything.

4) If you want to be able to = print the=20 charts, you must enable background image printing. To do this, click=20 =93Tools=94 on your browser menu bar. Then, select =93Internet = Options=94.=20 After that panel comes up, click =93Advanced=94 tab. Finally, = scroll down to=20 the Printing category and check =93Print background colors and = images=94.=20 Note: You only have to do this once. Your browser will remember this = setting and=20 it will always print background images until you go in and uncheck the = box I=20 just indicated.

5) This web program required = a lot of=20 code and is about 300K in size. So, be patient on how long it takes to = download=20 for you. The first time will take the longest as nothing is yet cached = locally=20 on your machine. Many people expect web programs to execute as fast as = web pages=20 that are nothing more than static text and images. That is not realistic = as this=20 web program must perform complex calculations, and dynamically load many = images,=20 in order to deliver the chart you=92re requesting.

In anticipation of certain = questions, this site has been encrypted and the right mouse clicking has = been=20 disabled. Also, it will not work outside of this site. So, it cannot be = saved=20 for offline use. The reasons are that it took a lot of work and we're = not=20 willing to let someone else just download it and put it on their own = site=20 without proper credit or compensation. So, this will work fine as long = as you=20 access it from this site and you have an upgraded browser.

Have fun.

Your resident web=20 developers,

Ron Grimes, Donna = Quinn

MANY=20 THANKS!

This program has come = about thru the=20 hard earned efforts of Thomas Morrell, who researched and came up with = the=20 Mystic Quadrate System and has made this all possible. All the = information that=20 is contained in this program comes from his books and research efforts. = Thanks=20 Thomas!

Secondly, without the = programming=20 expertise of Ron Grimes, this would definitely not be a reality at this = present=20 time and to him we ALL owe a debt of gratitude for not only the time he = has put=20 into not only THIS program for free, but the CARD OF YOUR NAME program = and the=20 COMPOSITE NAME program as well. =20 Thanks Ron! I couldn't have done it without you. . .=20 .
