299. All contacts by any multiple of 30 degrees by a midpoint to a planet is positive, but the strongest influence is the conjunction/opposition and the trine/sextile. But we always call them trines and conjunctions because of our theory of Midpoint Projection.
300. It is sometimes useful to refer to the conjunction or trine of a midpoint as simply an enhancement; an MDX is enhancing if the angle is o, 60, 120, or 180 degrees.
301. To distinguish between the near and projected far midpoint, here is an example: Jupiter-Pluto means the near midpoint of Jupiter + Pluto. Jupiter/Pluto means the far midpoint (projected).
302. Never say Jupiter-Pluto or Jupiter/Pluto is sextile anything because we always refer to it as a trine, which is the projected equivalence enhancement angle. (Book 2, page 32). Similarly, Jupiter/Pluto is never “opposed” to a location or planet, it is always referred to as “conjunct” the planet. But if we use the term Jupiter-Pluto midpoint, then since that is the near midpoint only, it can be sextile to a planet.
Aspected Midpoint Crossings: MDX’s 303. Reminder: A MDX occurs whenever the midpoint of 2 planets makes an equal degree aspect to another planet.
304. An equal degree aspect in the declinations is either a parallel or a contra-parallel. In longitudes, an equal degree aspect occurs at any angle that is a multiple of 30 degrees. This means 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, or 180 degrees.
305. Midpoint contacts are especially powerful if the planet being aspected by the midpoint is also aspected by another planet, because this would mean that the midpoint is aspecting 2 planets at the same time, (see Franklin D. Roosevelt and Adolf Hitler, Book 2, page 33 and 44).
306. When a midpoint is in equal degree aspect to 2 planets, it creates a very powerful Multiple Planet Aspect. They are called Aspected Midpoint Crossings, abbreviated “Aspected MDX”.
307. An Aspected MDX occurs whenever 2 planets are in equal degree aspect to each other (called the aspected planets) and a midpoint formed by 2 other planets (called the midpoint planets) makes equal degree aspects to the 2 aspected planets. (Like my Venus and Mars are aspected in my chart).
308. Nearly exact Aspected MDX’s have great potency.
