280. M/Q’s means BOTH MQ’s and MDQ’s. This is also true for the term Magi Quads.
281. So “Magi Quads” means both longitudinal and declinational collectively.
282. MDQ’s have all the variations of MQ’s. (Like Aspected MDQ’s, Double Aspected MDQ’s, Triple MDQ’s, and so on.
283. In the case of Aspected MDQ’s, the aspect is always a parallel. So an aspected MDQ can occur whenever one of the 4 planets forming the MDQ is parallel (//) to a 5th planet. Such an MDQ is referred to as an Appected M/Q.
284. To distinguish between the 2 M/Q’s: (aspected M/Q’s):
1. Conjuncted Magi Quads (Aspected longitudinal Magi Quad)
2. Parallel Magi Dek Quads (Aspected declinational Magi quad)
285. How to interpret Magi Quads? (Book 2, page 126). Determine the symbolism of each of the 2 pairs of planets just as if each pair of planets were aspects. The to obtain the symbolisms of the entire M/Q, combine and integrate the symbolism’s of the 2 pairs. Example: Jupiter + Pluto <//> Uranus + Venus = Super success achieved through money derived from sources ruled by Uranus (like astrology). The way the planets are written Jupiter + Pluto <//> Uranus + Venus indicates that the 2 pairs of planets form a M/Q. (It can be longitudinal or declinational).
286. If we want to be specific in the pairings about whether they are longitudinal or declinational M/Q’s, we write this:
1. MQ is a longitudinal MQ
2. MDQ is a declinational MQ
3. M/Q can be a longitudinal or declinational MQ
4. Jupiter + Pluto <//> Uranus + Venus can be either longitudinal or declinational.
5. Jupiter + Pluto </L/> Uranus + Venus can only be longitudinal.
6. Jupiter + Pluto </D/> Uranus + Venus can only be declinational.
