Activated Persons: The two persons who are connected by an activation (inter-aspects of 90 and 180 degrees.)
Activation: An inter-aspect formed between two persons that is either 90 or 180 degrees. Activations are stressful inter-aspects although they can initially cause attraction. There are no activations in the Declination Chart.
Activation Angles: The two angles that form activations, which are 90 and 180 degrees.
Alignment Chart: An astrological chart that employs the use of a circle, and where the positions of the planets are placed on the circle in a proportional manner relative to their actual positions in the sky, as opposed to relative to the houses.
Alignments: The relative positioning of the planets as they are seen in the earth sky.
Apparent: The way that the planets look like they are moving, as opposed to what their actual motions are; in other words, what the eye sees rather than what is actually happening.
Applying Enhancement: A term in Magi Astrology referring to the condition where an Enhancement Aspect is created by having at least one of the natal planets applying to the other, and the applying natal planet is Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto.
Aspect Angle: An angle that forms a planetary aspect. In the longitudes, there are seven of them. They are 00, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, and 180 degrees.
Aspect Integration: A term in Magi Astrology referring to the process of blending and combining all the astrological aspects of a birth chart to create an integrated whole analysis that takes into account the force of all the aspects working simultaneously and continuously.
Aspect Confirmation: Conditions that exist when a Natal Chart possesses the Astrological aspects necessary to achieve success in a particular endeavor.
Aspect of Political Power: Jupiter enhancement of Uranus. Bill Clinton, Albert Gore, and Newt Gingrich were all born with this aspect. It is also called the Super Fame Aspect because over half of the Hollywood megastars have this aspect.
Aspect Time: the time period during which an aspect is within orb.
Aspected Magi Quad: In the longitudes, a Magi Quad with a conjunction at one of the four corners. In the declinations, a Magi Quad where one of the four component planets has a 5th planet parallel to it. The more aspects a Magi Quad has, the more powerful and influential it is.
Aspected Midpoint Crossing: This is a potent alignment of four planets, two of which are in equal degree aspect to each other, while the other two form a midpoint, which in turn is located such that it makes a Midpoint Crossing to the other two non-midpoint planets (the ones that are in equal degree aspect to each other.)
Aspected Multiple-Planet Aspect: An MP=Aspect that is either an Aspected M/Q or an Aspected MDX.
Aspect Transformation: A theory of Magi Astrology referring to the concept that the symbolisms and influence of all equal degree aspects are transformed, altered, and modified if the planets that form the aspect are in turn aspected by other planets or midpoints of other planets. The symbolisms of the crossing planets or midpoints must be integrated with the symbolisms of the original aspect in order to obtain an accurate meaning for the overall alignment. All Multiple Planet Aspects are subject to, and interpreted using the theory of Aspect Transformation.
Astrological Aspect: An alignment between two planets that is considered meaningful by astrologers. In the case of longitudes, all alignments between any two planets that create an angle that is a multiple of 30 degrees is an astrological aspect. There are also other angles that are considered to be meaningful by most astrologers but are not dealt with in this book because there is no proof at this time that they work. In the case of the declinations, as astrological aspect is an alignment between two planets where the two planets are in the same degree of declination, regardless of whether they are both in north or south declinations, or one planet is in north declination while the other is in south declination.
Babylonian Alignment Chart: An astrological chart that does not include the houses, and is based on a circle divided into twelve equal parts for the twelve signs. Such a chart is designed to allow the user to easily see the alignments of the planets.
Bidirectional Aspect: A Magi Astrology term referring to any longitudinal aspect that is comprised of one planet in retrograde, while the other planet is in direct motion.
Bi-Level: Refers to any astrological condition that exists in both the longitudes and the declinations. For example, if a planet is a Focal Planet in both the longitudes and declinations, that planet is a Bi-Level Focal Planet. Or if a planet is enhanced by one planet in the declinations, and by the same or another planet in the longitudes, the planet has a Bi-Level enhancement. Example: Sun trine Pluto and Sun parallel Pluto, or Sun conjunct Pluto and Sun parallel Neptune. There can be more than one bi-level enhancement.
Bi-Level Aspect: A Magi Astrology term referring to the condition where a natal planet is aspected in both the declinations and the longitudes. An example would be if the Sun is contra-parallel Neptune, and at the same time Neptune is quincunx to the Sun. Bi-levels are super powerful.
Bi-Level Enhancement: A Magi Astrology term referring to the very fortunate condition where a natal planet is enhanced in both the declinations and the longitudes, but where there is no planetary eclipse involving the natal planet. An example would be if the Sun is parallel Neptune, and at the same time Pluto is in trine to the Sun. Bi-levels are super-powerful. Very, very special blessing.
CAC: Combined Alignment Chart.
Captive: This is the Magi terminology for the Passive Person in a Captivation.
Captivation: Found in a CAC when a linkage is formed from one person's Saturn, Saturn-Chiron midpoint, or Saturn-Jupiter midpoint, to the other person's Sun, Moon (but only if the exact birth time is known), Earth, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, or Chiron. This configuration also suggests an imbalance of power unless there is Saturn Balance also present.
Chiron: A comet-like planetoid that orbits the Sun between Saturn and Uranus, and which has the most profound astrological significance.
Chiron Aspect: An aspect that is formed by Chiron and another planet.
Chiron Linkage: A linkage formed by one person’s Chiron to any natal planet of another person.
Cinderella Aspect: One of the two aspects that are most often found in Cinderella's (Venus-Chiron and Chiron-Neptune.) Most women (and men) who marry high above their station were born with Cinderella aspects.
Cinderella Linkage: One of the three linkages most often found in Cinderella's (Venus-Chiron, Jupiter-Chiron, and Neptune-Chiron.) there are also Cinderella Yods.
Cinderella Time: Transits are the key to knowing your time (And - create a CAC.)
Classic Schism: One of a number of inter-aspects that prevent two persons from having similar outlooks or mutual destinies. These inter-aspects create enormous tensions and friction between the connected persons.
Combined Alignment Chart: An astrological chart that is comprised of all the natal planets of one person, and some or all of the natal planets of another person.
Combined Planetary Geometry: (Also called Combined Geometry). The Planetary Geometry that is created by overlaying some or all the natal planets from one chart on top of some or all of the natal planets of another chart.
Combined Super Aspects: Super Aspects that are attained through linkages; the pairs of planets that form them are the same as those that form Super Aspects.
Combined Symmetry: Symmetrical pattern that is formed by the natal planets of two individuals.
Companionship Chart: The astrological chart of the time that two persons first look into each other’s eyes. It is the chart of the relationship between the two persons unless they make love or get married. The chart of the day you first meet anyone (handshake) - use with your transits.
Complex Planetary Geometry: Planetary Geometry that is formed by more than two planets.
Composite: Three planets - Not to be confused with the term composite chart used in standard astrology, in Magi Astrology, a composite means the half of an Aspected Magi Quad that contains the aspect. The other half is called a pairing because there are only two planets. A composite always has at least three planets, two of which must be in aspect, for example: Jupiter + [Venus conjunct Neptune]. Use the word "composite" for aspected M/Q's.
Configuration: A pattern created by three or more planets.
Conjuncted Trine: The second most powerful shape of Planetary Geometry that three planets can form in the longitudes; it is a conjunction of two planets where both planets are in trine to a third planet. When all three planets are retrograde, it is rare and extremely powerful.
Connected Persons: The two persons who are astrologically associated by virtue of their forming an inter-aspect.
Contra-Parallel: An aspect in the declinations made between two planets that are in the same degree of declinations, but with the two planets on different sides of the celestial equator.
Culmination Transits: There are approximately six combinations of planets that are capable of forming what is called "Culmination Transits", and most of the combinations involve Chiron. Basically they are the result of numerous transits that all point in one direction - and in essence - culminate in a "change of status" of the current relationship. If memory serves me right - I think you may have seen the Marriage CAC's on one of the Magi websites of either Madonna or Julia Roberts. In any case, go ahead and draw these charts up...Both women married during a Cinderella Transit with Madonna's CAC sporting Ur/Ch Culmination Transit, while Julia Roberts CAC shows a Ch/Sa Culmination Transit.
Cumulative Effect: In a single astrological chart, when two aspects are comprised of the same two planets and one or both of the aspects are just wide of the normal orb, then the two aspects are said to add to each other’s level of power, and accumulate, with the result that the two aspects together have more power than just either one.
Cupid Linkage: The linkage formed by one person’s Venus and the other person’s Sun.
Deceiving Linkage: A linkage that is actually beyond the standard orb and is therefore not really strong enough to be a linkage. There is just enough influence to make one think that the relationship will work, when in fact, the orb is just not tight enough.
Declinational Bias: A term in Magi Astrology referring to the astrological phenomenon where planets always move more slowly through the extreme degrees of declinations, thus increasing the likelihood of creating aspects with each other.
Declinational Synchronizations: A Magi Astrology term for planets that are in planetary synchronization in the declinations. At least three planets - should include (for power) Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto as components.
Declinations: The vertical coordinate (or location) of the planets. The declination of a planet is the distance, in degrees, north or south of the Celestial Equator. The Sun’s declination varies between about 23.5 degrees north to 23.5 degrees south declination. The change in declination is caused by the tilt of the Earth as it revolves around the Sun.
Diagnonals: Planets aligned to form isosceles or equilateral triangles - their power is extra-ordinarily enhanced.
Distance Orb: The standard orb in degrees as opposed to a time orb.
Distant Relationship Chart: Internet or phone meeting.
Double Aspected Magi Quad: Similar to an Aspected Magi Quad, but there are two conjunctions or parallels rather than just one.
Double Direct Aspect: An aspect formed by 2 planets, both of which are in direct motion - like a double direct Quincunx..
Double Linkage: A condition that exists when 2 persons have 2 linkages made up of the same combination of planets.
Double Retrograde Enhancements: The best!
Dynamic: A term in Magi Astrology to describe a condition where all the planets of a pattern match degrees with each other. 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180 degree aspects. (All 30 degree aspects).
Dynamic Symmetrical Pattern: A symmetrical pattern where all the planets that form the pattern match degrees.
Enhanced Sun: A natal Sun that is enhanced by virtue of having any of the planets make an enhancement angle to it.
Enhancement: A circumstance where two planets are in conjunction, trine, parallel, or contra-parallel to each other, thereby creating an aspect that Magi Astrology considers to be an enhancement or mutual improvement.
Enhancement Angle: One of four angles: a conjunction, trine, parallel or contra-parallel.
Enhancement Aspect: A term in Magi Astrology referring to a condition where any of the following four aspects exist: conjunction, trine, parallel or contra-parallel.
Enhancement by Extreme Declination: A concept in Magi Astrology referring to the very beneficial influences of a planet when it is at very extreme degrees of declination.
Enhancement Dominance: In Planetary Synchronizations, Enhancement Dominance forms the nucleus of the synchronization.
Equal Degree Angle: An equal degree angle exists between two planets in the longitudes whenever the two planets are aligned at an angle that is a multiple of 30 degrees, including 00 degrees. In the declinations, an equal degree angle exists between two planets whenever the two planets are either parallel or contra-parallel to each other.
Equal Degree Aspect: A term in Magi Astrology referring to a longitudinal astrological aspect formed by two planets such that the angle between the two planets is a multiple of 30 degrees. Examples are the 90 degree square aspect or the 180 degree opposition aspect.
Exdek: Abbreviation for enhancement by extreme declination.
Fallout: A term in Magi Astrology referring to residual negative influences existing for a short duration after an exact negative transit or progression peaked and began to separate.
Financial Planets: Venus, Chiron, Neptune, and Pluto.
Focal Planet: A planet is a Focal Planet for a day when the planet recurs at least twice as a component of the first six Magi Quads in the Occurring Magi Sequence of that day. There is usually more than one Focal Planet in a Birth chart. May be different Focal Planets in the longitudes versus the declinations.
Focus: the most important Planetary Geometry of a birth chart.
Focus Aspect: The most exact aspect in the birth chart, and usually the most important.
Focus Progressed Super Transits: Progressed planet makes a Progressed Transit to both planets that form the Focus Aspect of the Natal chart
Focused Super Progressions: When there is a Focused Super Progression, it is almost always the most powerful single astrological influence on the course of the native's life. A Focused Super Progression is normally life-altering.
Focused Super Transits: A transiting planet that makes a transit to both planets that compromise the Focus Aspect of the Birth Chart.
Fountain-of-Youth Aspect: A Magi Society discovery, this aspect is an enhancement of the Sun by Neptune; the aspect bestows youth and longevity to the native.
Four Strongest Pluto Enhancements: In Magi Astrology, this refers to the 4 enhancements to Pluto (conjunction, trine, parallel, and contra-parallel) that are most helpful, and include Jupiter, Venus, Sun, or Uranus. Uranus-Pluto sometimes doesn't occur for decades. Sun-Pluto and Venus-Pluto each occur in exact aspect about seven days a year. Jupiter-Pluto - three times as rare.
Fraternal Symbolisms: Symbolisms that are very close in meaning but which are nonetheless different and ruled by two different planets.
Golden Linkage: One of five linkages most favorable to have with anyone in terms of achieving success together.
Grand Cross: A configuration of four planets aligned to each other in such a way that each is square to two of the other planets, and each planet is opposed to another.
Historic Aspect: An aspect that occurs in the chart of an event, as opposed to a living being. An aspect in the chart of a living being is a Personal Aspect, and the two are interpreted differently in Magi Astrology.
Inter-aspect: An aspect that is formed between two charts as opposed to one. An interaspect is the result of any alignment of two natal planets where two persons each contribute one natal planet, and the two planets are at an aspect angle to each other.
Interconnected Magi Quads: One of the most powerful planetary alignments, it consists of 6 planets, which are broken down into three pairings. Each of the three pairings are aligned in such a way that each pairing quadralizes to both of the other pairings to form a Magi Quad, thereby forming a total of three Magi Quads, each of which shares a pairing with one of the other M/Qs. Interconnected Magi Quads occur whenever three pairs of planets are aspected similarly – for example, if there are three conjunctions or three parallels, or three sextiles in a birth chart. They also occur when three pairs of different planets are a similar number of degrees apart, but the resulting M/Qs are not as powerful as when three pairs of different planets are in aspect.
Jupiter-Pluto Aspected Magi Quad: An Aspected Magi Quad where the conjunction or parallel is comprised of Jupiter and Pluto; this is the most powerful Aspected Magi Quad. If the aspect of an M/Q is a conjunction of two other planets, say Sun and Venus, we could call the M/Q a Sun-Venus Aspected M/Q.
Jupiter-Pluto Magi Quad: An M/Q where one of the pairings is Jupiter + Pluto. This is the most powerful pairing, and therefore also forms the most powerful standard Magi Quads.
Link: To form a linkage.
Linkage: An interaspect that is formed by any enhancement angle or a quincunx.
Linkage Angle: An angle that forms a linkage, which is any of the four enhancement angles or the quincunx.
Linked Persons: The two persons who form a linkage.
Longitudinal Synchronization: A Magi Astrology term for planetary synchronization of planets in the longitudes.
Love Chart: The astrological chart of any love relationship, such as that of a marriage or that of the first time two persons make love.
Magi AstroChart: A birth chart drawn the Magi Astrology way. Normal birth charts depict the locations of only the longitudes of the planets. A Magi AstroChart includes the declinations. All planets that are in significant declinational aspect to each other are highlighted by connecting lines. The lines may directly connect the aspecting planets, or the lines may first touch the S-curve, or at either the horizontal or vertical lines, which run the length of the diameter and create a cross-hair.
Magi Astrology: A branch of astrology with astrological principles and rules of interpretation developed by the Magi Society in 1625. In Magi Astrology, Chiron and the declinations are always included, and unique analytical tools of Planetary Geometry are applied to obtain a more complete analysis than the standard methods in general use.
Magi Astrology Law of Symmetrical Enhancement: Whenever three or more planets are aligned in such a manner that the planets form a symmetrical pattern, then the aligned planets enhance each other and influence each other positively (except if 90 degree angles are formed - as is the case with the T-Square). The positive influence of the combined planets will conform to the integrated combined symbolisms of the planets that form the symmetrical alignment.
Magical Angle: Two planets that are Trine, Conjunct or Quincunx - unless Saturn is involved. Whenever a planet from one person's chart makes a 150-degree angle with a planet from another person's chart, one of two things can happen.
- 1. If Saturn is not one of the planets, then a linkage is formed and the resulting linkage promotes compatibility just like any other linkage. Under such circumstances, we call the 150-degree angle a Magical Angle.
- 2. But if either of the planets is Saturn, then the two planets form a Saturn Clash. A Saturn Clash has a very different effect than a linkage. Saturn Clashes are highly accurate astrological warnings that two persons will have a tumultuous relationship, or that at least one of the persons' lives will be greatly disrupted by their relationship.
Magi Dek Quad: A Declinational Magi Quad.
Magi Pyramid: A term in Magi Astrology referring to the condition where in the declinations, at least three planets are each in aspect to one another. This usually occurs when three planets are all parallel to each other, but it is possible for it to occur when one planet is contra-parallel to two planets, which are, in turn, parallel to each other. To qualify for being a Magi Pyramid, the aligning planets can be any combinations of Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, or Chiron.
Magi Pyramid Quad: In the longitudes, this is a Magi Quad composed of four planets, which has a pairing that is a conjunction; this results in the formation of an equilateral triangle with a conjunction of two planets at the apex. In the declinations, a Magi Pyramid Quad has a parallel of two planets rather than a conjunction; the midpoint of the other pairing is parallel to both planets that form the parallel.
Magi Quad: A Magi Quad is a Multiple-Planet Aspect comprised of four planets. In the longitudes, it exists wherever four planets are aligned in such a way that they form a symmetrical pattern such that at least two of the four sides are parallel to each other. In the declinations, a Magi Quad exists whenever two pairs of planets are an equal number of degrees apart; for example, if a pair of planets is two degrees apart, and another pair of planets is also two degrees apart, the four planets will form a Magi Quad. This term can be used to refer to longitudinal and/or declinational Magi Quads.
Magi Quad/Yod: A five planet alignment consisting of a Magi Quad with a fifth planet where this extra planet is located at either the near or far midpoint of the two pairings of the M/Q; the 5th planet is often the key to the symbolism of the entire alignment.
Magi Sequence: A hierarchy sequence of Magi Quads or MDXs, originally created based on Magi Society research. After an enormous amount of in-depth research into the birth charts of over 20,000 successful individuals, and another 10,000 average persons, the Magi Society made judgments on which M/Qs and MDXs were most potent in helping the native achieve success and/or provide special talents and skills. Based on this, the Magi Society’s parent operating company, the Magi Associates, Inc., created ladder sequences for all possible M/Qs and MDXs. The M/Qs and MDXs that are judged to be most helpful are at the top of the Magi Sequences; the M/Qs and the MDXs that are judged to be the next most helpful are listed next, and so on and so on. For MDX’s, there is a different Magi Sequence depending on the crossing planet. For M/Qs, there is only one Magi Sequence. No single day has all possible M/Q/s and MDXs. The actual existing M/Qs and MDXs on any given day are called the Occurring M/Qs and MDXs. And the Occurring Magi Sequence is the sequence of M/Qs and MDXs that actually exist for any day, but is listed according to the order of the correct Magi Sequence. The Magi Ephemeris lists all Multiple-Planet Aspects according to the appropriate Occurring Magi Sequence. All Magi Sequences and Occurring Magi Sequences for each day are copyrighted. The Magi Associates, Inc., has also copyrighted all alternate Magi Sequences which, in its judgment, could be useful to astrologers.
Magi Triangle: A term in Magi Astrology referring to the condition where in the longitudes, at least three planets are each in equal-degree aspect to each other. The aspects can be any equal degree aspects, but the largest configuration formed cannot be a T-Square or a Square (cannot be a conjunction of two planets where both are in square to another planet). The aligning planets must be some combinations of the Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, or Chiron. Can be three Conjunctions or a Sextile, Square, and Quincunx - no T-Squares - but conjunctions count as long as there is no T-Square.
Magical Time: the time period when an aspect is most powerful; in Magi Astrology, these are the three days before and after an aspect is exact.
Match Degrees: When two planets match degrees, they are in the same degree of either the same sign, or the same degree of two different signs. They can also be in the same degree north or south declinations.
Maximum Linkage Locations: Maximum Linkage Locations are areas in a natal chart where another person’s planets would make the most possible linkages to the overall natal chart. (See CAC'S of Tom Cruise and his four significant love affairs on the Magi website.)
MDQ: Abbreviation for Magi Dek Quad.
MDX: Abbreviation for Midpoint Crossing.
Mega-Event: An historic event of significance.
Midpoint: Usually refers to the unoccupied point in the zodiac that is exactly equidistant in longitudinal degrees to two planets. In Magi Astrology may be occupied and may be in the declinations.
Midpoint Crossing: A Midpoint Crossing occurs whenever a planet crosses an equal degree angle to the midpoint of any two other planets. A Midpoint Crossing refers to an alignment of three planets.
Midpoint Equivalence: refers to a law of Magi Astrology. The law states: Every midpoint acts as if it were a planet. All midpoints influence planets and other midpoints under the same rules as planets themselves. All midpoints are influenced by planets and other midpoints under the same rules as planets themselves.
Midpoint Projection: By the Theory of Midpoint Projection, always use the term Conjunct or Trine - not Opposition or Sextile. All contacts of any multiple of 30 degrees by a midpoint to a planet is positive, but the strongest is the Conjunction (Opposition) and Trine (Sextile). Magi Quads are also relevant to the Heliocentric Chart. Near and far (projected) midpoints.
Mini-Event: An uncommon event, but not Historic. It could just be the birth of someone with an uncommon ability.
MP-Aspect: Abbreviation for Multiple-Planet Aspect.
MQ: Abbreviation for longitudinal Magi Quad.
M/Q: Abbreviation for Magi Quad, and refers collectively to longitudinal and/or declinational Magi Quad.
Mono-Directional Aspect: A Magi term for an aspect that has both planets in retrograde, or both planets in direct motion.
Multiple Planet Aspect: A Multiple-Planet Aspect is an alignment of three or more planets such that all the planets that constitute the alignment influence each other. Magi Quads and Midpoint Crossings are examples.
Mystical Triangle: A Mystical triangle is formed by three planets where one side is a trine, one side is a square and the third side is a quincunx. A Mystical Triangle in a CAC is very powerful and creates a very high level of mutual attraction. In the Magi Astrology, the Mystical Triangle that is most powerful in creating love and romantic attraction is the one that is formed by the three Magi Romance Planets. There are three Magi Romance Planets and they are Chiron, Venus and Neptune. So when it comes to love, a Mystical Triangle formed by Chiron, Venus and Neptune is the most powerful of all possible Mystical Triangles and they are signs of nearly irresistible mutual romantic attraction. Such Mystical Triangles are so powerful and important that we give them a special name – we call them Romantic Mystical Triangles. A Romantic Mystical Triangle is a Mystical Triangle formed by the three Romance Planets (Chiron, Venus and Neptune). A Romantic Mystical Triangle is extremely rare. The average woman or man never gets a chance to date anyone with whom she or he forms a Romantic Mystical Triangle. For more information, see, http://www.magiastrology.com/madonna_leone.htm
Natalization: The concept where an action creates a birth chart, and the Planetary Geometry of the moment of the action is preserved in the birth chart, which then has all of the properties of astrological charts.
Nuptial Planetary Geometry: One of four types of Combined Planetary Geometry deemed to be conducive to a marriage. They are: Romantic Super Linkages, Symmetrical Combined Planetary Geometry, Romance Linkages, and Sexual Linkages.
Occurring Magi Sequence: This refers to a given day’s existing M/Qs or MDXs, and are listed and organized according to the appropriate Magi Sequence.
Offset: A technique of interpreting an aspect by reversing the symbolism of one of the two planets that form the aspect. This is done in Magi Astrology when interpreting a Turbulent Aspect that is also a Historic Aspect.
Opposition Enhancement: Why a Grand Trine is so powerful. (Use mode 6 in your MagiSoft software (Midpoint Crossings) and the F11 key to see when the Progressed Grand Trine will peak. Use Midpoint Projection.
Outer Range Progression: When the progression "peak" is too far away to really matter - such as a progression that peaks or becomes exact in 500 years.
Pairing: Refers to any two planets of a Magi Quad that interact with each other on a primary level. In the case of longitudes, the pairings are always between two planets that form one of the two parallel lines. In the declinations, the pairings are between two planets that form the two midpoints that are parallel to each other. There are always two pairings for each M/Q.
Passive Person: In a CAC (or Combined Alignment Chart), this is the non-Saturn Person in an inter-aspect between Saturn, and another planet. Unless there is also Saturn Balance, the Passive Person has less power than the Saturn person.
Perpetual Progression: A concept in Magi Astrology referring to the condition where an "applying" Progression lasts many years. Most successful companies have Perpetual Progressions of either Pluto or Neptune making an enhancement angle to Venus.
Personal Aspect: An aspect that exists in the chart of a person or other living entity. In Magi Astrology, these aspects are interpreted differently than Historic Aspects.
Planetary Eclipse: Any two planets creating an eclipse (both conjunct in longitudes and parallel in declinations). "Eclipse" only refers to Sun and Moon. A conjunction and a parallel equals a Planetary eclipse - very strong aspects.
Planetary Geometry: Can be personal or combined - Any line or lines, shape, or pattern that is formed when connecting lines are drawn between the planets. Besides the planets, Planetary Geometry can include the Ascendant, Midheaven, Asteroids, and Comets and any other astrologically significant factor, whether real or calculated. Aspects are the simplest forms of Planetary Geometry. The shape of the Planetary Geometry does NOT tell if the event is good or bad.
Planetary Personality: In Magi Astrology, it is believed that each planet has a personality, just like each of the twelve signs.
Planetary Synchronization: Planetary Synchronization is the Focus of every chart (the most exact synchronization). A concept of Magi Astrology, it refers to the condition where at least 3 planets are within orb to all make aspects to each other. This can occur in the longitudes or declinations. See Declinational synchronizations - even 30 degree aspects count. Any alignment of three synchronized planets is very powerful so long as the sun, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Chiron are the three component planets. When there is an aspect, and at least one of the planets forming the aspect matches degrees with at least one other planet.
Primary Focal Planet: A planet that recurs so often in the first six M/Qs of an Occurring Magi Sequence that its importance cannot be ignored and its symbolisms must be given highest priority in an analysis of the birth chart as a whole. There are no strict rules as to when a planet is a Primary focal Planet, but certainly if a planet is a component of each of the first three M/Qs of an Occurring Magi sequence, it is a Primary focal Planet. Similarly, of a planet occurs in three of the first five, or four of the first six M/Qs of any Occurring Magi Sequence, such a planet is also a Primary Focal Planet.
Primary Magi Quad: The most influential and powerful M/Q in an Occurring Magi Sequence; usually the first one.
Progressed Super Transit: A Progressed Transit that is a Super Transit.
Project: Refers to the concept that midpoints can be simultaneously in the same degree of opposing signs. For example, if the near midpoint of two planets is at 6 degrees Cancer, then the midpoint projects and is also simultaneously at 6 degrees Capricorn.
Progressions: In Magi Astrology, progressions are transits that begin occurring immediately after birth and which are projected to influence the native in the future on the basis of a whole year of influence for each day of transit. Fro example, the transits that occur on the 50th day after birth will influence the native for the entire 50th year of the native’s life.
Proximity Enhancement: A term in Magi Astrology referring to the condition where any two planets (except Saturn) are in equal-degree aspect to each other, and the aspect is closer than 0:30 degrees. Such proximity of two planets is aspect to each other is considerably more favorable than a wide aspect of the same two planets. This is equally true for longitudinal and declinational aspects.
Quadralize: this word refers to the process of combining to form a Magi Quad. Two pairings quadralize to form an M/Q; or a pairing and a composite quadralize to form an Aspected M/Q.
Relationship Chart: An astrological chart of a relationship, such as that of a marriage or love relationship. If two persons are not married, the relationship chart of two persons who are intimate is that of the first time they made love. The Marriage chart or divorce chart are all Relationship Charts.
Retrograde Planets: These planets are more beneficial than planets in direct motion.
Romance Aspect: An aspect formed by two Romance Planets.
Romance Linkage: A linkage formed by at least one Romance Planet.
Romance Planet: Chiron, Venus, or Neptune, based on the belief that these planets have rulerships that govern matters of romance and love.
Romance Transit: A transit by or to a Romance Planet.
Romantic Super Linkage: A Super Linkage where at least one of the inter-aspects is a Chiron Linkage.
Ruling Progression: A positive or negative powerful progression that is the primary influence on the native's life.
Saturn Aspect: An aspect where Saturn is one of the two planets that form the aspect.
Saturn Balance: Page 48 in your MagiSoft Software Manual.Saturn Person: In a CAC linkage or clash between Saturn and another planet, the person who contributes the Saturn is known as the Saturn person. The Saturn person holds more power in the given linkage or clash, and my hold more power in the relationship overall unless there is Saturn Balance.
Saturnian Planets: Saturn and its midpoints, Sedna and its midpoints, and Sappho.
Saturn Clash: A Turbulent Inter-aspect (including the Quincunx) formed by Saturn to any planet, especially Chiron, Neptune, Pluto, Venus, Sun, Uranus, Moon, or Jupiter. Saturn Clashes can lead to heartbreak.
Sedna: Discovered in our Solar System in 2003, Sedna is a dwarf planet with an extremely elliptical orbit of approximately 12,000 years. In Magi Astrology, Sedna is the destroyer, symbolizing both immorality and corruption.
Seduction Aspect: An aspect in the sky such that when it occurs, most people are more disposed to seduction, and more susceptible to seduction.
Sexual Planets: A term in Magi Astrology that refers to Venus, Mars, and Pluto because it is believed that their symbolisms are the ones that relate to sex.
Sexual Linkage: A linkage between any two of the Sexual Planets.
Silver Linkage: One of the five linkages that are Success Linkages, but which is not as strong as the Golden Linkage.
Singleton Aspect: Not part of any Planetary Synchronization.
Sports Champion Aspect: A term in Magi Astrology referring to one of the seventeen aspects that have been found by the Magi Society to greatly enhance athletic ability. Most of these aspects involve Mars or Pluto.
Star of David: This involves a Symmetrical Planetary Geometry formed by six (or more) planets that result in a geometric pattern containing two interlocking Grand Trines and six Sextiles. This planetary geometric pattern is uncommon, powerful, (and an astrological sight to behold).
Success Linkage: One of ten linkages that are either Golden Linkages or Silver Linkages.
Super Aspect: In Magi Astrology, one of fifteen aspects discovered by the Magi Society that bestows to the native a significant advantage in achieving fame and fortune, or success in general.
Super Fame Aspect: An enhancement aspect between Jupiter and Uranus; it is a Super Aspect and is the strongest one for imparting fame.
Super Linkage: A Super Linkage exists between two persons if one person has an aspect and the second person has a natal planet that matches degrees with both planets that create the aspect, thus forming two inter-aspects to the first person. At least one of the inter-aspects must be a linkage. Three planets and one linkage - orb can be four degrees.
Super Sports Champion Aspect: One of the seventeen strongest Super Champion Aspects - Mars and Pluto enhancements..
Super Success Aspect: An enhancement of Jupiter and Pluto, it is overall the most beneficial and powerful Super Aspect.
Super Transit: When a Natal Chart has an aspect, and a transiting planet makes a transit to both planets that form the aspect. (Like a super linkage).
Symmetrical Planetary Geometry: A symmetrical pattern in the sky or on an alignment chart that is formed by connecting lines between the positions of at least three planets. this is the most powerful form of Planetary Geometry.
Time To Exactness: the time in days, hours, etc., before an aspect will be exact, or the time after an aspect was exact.
Transformed: A term referring to the changed and modified symbolisms of planets and aspects when another planet or midpoint makes an equal degree contact to the original planets or aspects.
Trapper: The Trapper is known as the Saturn person in a Captivation. (Please see Captivation above.)
Triple Aspected Midpoint Crossing: this is similar to an Aspected Midpoint Crossing but is compromised of an additional fifth planet, which makes an equal degree aspect to the two non-midpoint planets.
Triple Magi Quad: In the case of longitudes, an alignment of six planets that form two Magi Quads when the two Quads border on each other on one side, thus creating three parallel lines when the appropriate pairs of planets are connected. The term triple is used because there are really three Magi Quads in such an alignment, the third being the large M/Q formed by the two non-bordering parallel lines. In the declinations, a Triple MDQ is an alignment of six planets, such that the six planets can be reduced to three pairs of planets where the three midpoints of the three pairs are in parallel to each other.
T-Square: A symmetrical triangle of three planets, where two planets form an opposition and a third planet is between the other two and is therefore square to both. A T-Square is a form of Turbulent Planetary Geometry.
Turbulent Aspect: An aspect that is made by the 90 or 180 degree angles. If the aspect is a Saturn aspect, then it could also be 150 degrees.
Turbulent Planetary Geometry: Planetary Geometry that is formed by only Turbulent Aspects.
Turbulent Transit By Saturn: A transit by Saturn in the sky where Saturn makes a Turbulent Angle (or a quincunx) to a natal planet. When this occurs, the native’s judgment and health are impaired.
Twelve Super Progressions: In Magi Astrology, similar to the Super Aspect, the twelve Super Progressions refer to thetwelve progressions that the Magi Society has found to be most beneficial to the native in achieving fame and fortune.
Valid Range of Interpretations: The range of interpretations that an aspect or inter-aspect can be reasonably ascribed; the range depends on the breadth and the scope of the numerous validated symbolisms of the planets comprising the aspect or inter-aspect.
