Laci Peterson’s Brief Biography from AstroDatabank “American homicide victim, Laci Peterson vanished between December 23 and Christmas Eve morning, 2002. She was eight months pregnant at the time. With no clues to go on, police could make no arrest although they kept Scott Peterson, her husband, under surveillance. He had reportedly been having an affair with another woman who herself went public on January 24, 2003. Scott had also taken out a $250,000 insurance policy on his wife prior to her disappearance. Finally, in April 2003, her body and that of her unborn son were washed up on the shore at Richmond, California and Scott was arrested and charged with murder of his wife and child the day the remains were identified, on April 18, 2003.

My analysis below is my attempt at distinguishing the central structure and event circumstances with which Laci Peterson’s murder unfolded, and to actually witness the warning signs that were at play in the Combined Alignment Chart (CAC) of Scott and Laci Peterson. By a pre-determination of the CAC astrological conditions in place, that may have warned Lacy that a disaster was pending in the marriage, and what the warning signs were, this unfortunate tragedy may have been avoided.

In the CAC above between Laci and Scott Peterson, the first thing that catches a Magi trained eye is the Combined Symmetrical Planetary Geometry that forms a turbulent T-Square involving Scott’s Chiron opposing his Mars, and forming an activation angle to Laci’s Saturn, and this is the tightest synchronization in their CAC -applying at an orb of 0.13 degrees. Would these two individuals ever be able to bring out the best in one another, and should marriage have even been considered in the first place? Absolutely not! Scott’s Chiron tightly squares Laci’s Saturn. This is a classic schism of both a Heartbreak Activation and a Saturn Clash – the absolute worst activation that two individuals can have, and the likely outcome is that they would completely fall out of love with one another. This is also a highly reliable sign that they are not soul mates, as they would initially like to think. The danger is evidenced by the fact that the initial Saturn bond may hold the two of them together for a period of time, until one becomes extremely vulnerable because of situations and/or circumstances taking place in their lives, and revolving around deception. At that point, it completely crushes the relationship and the hearts of both parties. Changing sexual partners for the sake of experiencing a new sense of adventure drives him to adultery and affairs. Chiron contra-parallel Juno gives him powerful sex appeal to fulfill his Juno-Uranus thrill seeking ventures with respect to his need for adultery and illicit sex.
On the other hand, Laci appears to be on to something uneasy about Scott's true character. Scott's Jupiter parallel Laci's Midheaven gives a one-sided linkage that is not at all mutual, putting her on the right side of his trust. Scott had implicit trust in Laci, and had the utmost confidence in her morality - giving her the benefit of the doubt, while Laci was not so quick to unquestioningly reciprocate the same confidence and trust with respect to the character of her husband, Scott, and his moral values. While most of the time inter-aspects show their effects on both persons involved, this is not true for the personal calculated points such as the Ascendant and the Midheaven. When an inter-aspect is formed by either the Ascendant or the Midheaven, the effects are not mutual - they are one-sided. The Venus applying square Venus inter-aspect brings an oddity to the union by virtue of the fact that their combined, desires, tastes, and sense of humor are at increasing odds with one another’s as time goes on – bringing continuity of increased incompatibility to their union.
For confluence and support, we also see that declinational Saturn parallels Saturn – resulting in a basic energy of a relationship that involves a constant tripping over one another, while impeding each other’s progress in an attempt to gain control over one another, and constantly undoing what the other has purposefully done.

So Why Did They Marry?

Both results will show their effects on the relationship, therefore, all factors of the chart must be fully integrated and synthesized to get a clear picture of how events are likely to primarily unfold. In the CAC of Scott and Laci Peterson, we have already noted numerous Saturn Clashes and hard aspects, which are difficult – if not impossible - to overcome. So let’s look a bit further into the CAC of Scott and Lacy to see what else unfolds…
Sex. Venus, Mars, and Pluto are sexual planets - as is Juno. Scott’s Mars forms an applying bi-level (declinational linkage also) to Lacy’s Mars, synchronizing their bodies. This is certainly not a great linkage for a serious or long-term commitment, but serves well for the purpose of sexual flings and excitement. What the ultimate outcome of this linkage infers is that, at some point in time, the desire of Uranus is for excitement and adventure, and therefore will eventually give rise for Scott to have sexual relationships outside the marriage, leading to infidelity for partners who are in a committed relationship.

The unfortunate account under which this aspect added fame to the Scott & Laci Peterson relationship, subsequently making front page news, involved infidelity and later, murder charges. Uranus is all about adventure, freedom, independence, and the urge for all, and involves implementing the changes necessary to bring about these conditions. And his Saturn contra-parallel her Neptune, which is all about control with respect to matters concerning life and death as mentioned above, and in combination with the other contributing factors, brought about the final blow of the demise of Laci Peterson.

What Was Scott Peterson Thinking?
Scott's Progressed Chart for December 23, 2002
Progressions are more important than transits, and the most powerful tool in Astrology. The transits and progressions signal the ups and downs in everyone's life, and every up and down has a planetary signal that is predictable. Progressions must be applying (or within a three day time orb) to show their effects, and every progression involving Saturn applying - is the worst of all progressions. So what WAS Scott thinking?
The turbulent Planetary Geometry above certainly signals warnings. Here we see Scott's progressed Saturn applying an an activation angle to his progressed Midheaven, and peaking on December 27, 2002. He was clearly out of control when we also see that this activation is additionally synthesized and integrated with the other planetary conditions at play - such as an activated T-Square involving Moon (emotionally disturbed mind and uncontrollable urges), Jupiter (using bad judgment and dishonorable deeds), and Chiron (spouse) at the apex (directed at life and death matters with respect to wife/children).
Saturn is symbolic of being both too much or too little of something. Saturn significations aptly reveal out of control motivations - especially when operating at an activation angle to personal points. Saturn becomes irrational, and delusional in his desires for complete dominance over a situation, or another. Saturn governs frustrations, lack of control, and temptations of all kinds, and an obsessive and strong inability to resist them. Situations that have not been handled, or have failed to be properly addressed in the past, tend to crystallize with Saturn, making the problems more symbolic of the necessity to implement devastating and drastic outcomes to correct when operating within the confines of an irrational mind, and most especially as the problems appear to be bringing about increasing frustration. Laci and her unborn child were one such problem for Scott in his state of irrationality and delusion.
Given the fact that the turbulent T-Square was activated with Chiron (spouse/children) at the apex, and Scott's progressed Moon was applying square Chiron at an orb of 0.99 degrees and peaking on January 16, 2003, certainly something was in the works. And since Jupiter governs wide expansions and the Moon governs bodies of water, we can conclude that a wide body of water was also involved in the life and death (Chiron) scenario involving the spouse and unborn child (Chiron). Laci's body and that of her unborn fetus were both found in a body of water within one day of each other, the fetus being first washed up in Port Isabel, California on April 13, 2003.
What else was happening in Scott's Progressed Chart? Progressed Mercury (travel - with speed and swiftness in all modes of transportation - to include boats) was applying at an activation angle (square) to his progressed Ascendant (personal calculated point), and peaking on December 24, 2002. Scott claims he was fishing in his boat at the time of Laci's disappearance.
And if we look a bit closer at Scott's progressed chart, we see that Scott's progressed Ascendant/Saturn midpoint (deeply disturbed personal mission) is applying at an activation angle (opposition) to his Venus (misfortune) and applying parallel Chiron (involving life and death matters with respect to spouse and child - peaking on December 26, 2002) - which clearly implies that his personal mission to permanently rectify his sick desires (Venus) and bring about a permanent disconnection to their union (Venus) through death, (Chiron) would ultimately meet with misfortune. He was not aware that anything involving Venus is always impermanent - and therefore his personal demented mission would eventually be discovered, unsuccessful, and only come back to haunt him.

He was clearly out of control when we also see that this activation is additionally synthesized and integrated with the other planetary conditions at play - such as an activated T-Square involving Moon (emotionally disturbed mind and uncontrollable urges), Jupiter (using bad judgment and dishonorable deeds), and Chiron (spouse) at the apex (directed at life and death matters with respect to wife/children).
Saturn is symbolic of being both too much or too little of something. Saturn significations aptly reveal out of control motivations - especially when operating at an activation angle to personal points. Saturn becomes irrational, and delusional in his desires for complete dominance over a situation, or another. Saturn governs frustrations, lack of control, and temptations of all kinds, and an obsessive and strong inability to resist them. Situations that have not been handled, or have failed to be properly addressed in the past, tend to crystallize with Saturn, making the problems more symbolic of the necessity to implement devastating and drastic outcomes to correct when operating within the confines of an irrational mind, and most especially as the problems appear to be bringing about increasing frustration. Laci and her unborn child were one such problem for Scott in his state of irrationality and delusion.
Given the fact that the turbulent T-Square was activated with Chiron (spouse/children) at the apex, and Scott's progressed Moon was applying square Chiron at an orb of 0.99 degrees and peaking on January 16, 2003, certainly something was in the works. And since Jupiter governs wide expansions and the Moon governs bodies of water, we can conclude that a wide body of water was also involved in the life and death (Chiron) scenario involving the spouse and unborn child (Chiron). Laci's body and that of her unborn fetus were both found in a body of water within one day of each other, the fetus being first washed up in Port Isabel, California on April 13, 2003.
What else was happening in Scott's Progressed Chart? Progressed Mercury (travel - with speed and swiftness in all modes of transportation - to include boats) was applying at an activation angle (square) to his progressed Ascendant (personal calculated point), and peaking on December 24, 2002. Scott claims he was fishing in his boat at the time of Laci's disappearance.
And if we look a bit closer at Scott's progressed chart, we see that Scott's progressed Ascendant/Saturn midpoint (deeply disturbed personal mission) is applying at an activation angle (opposition) to his Venus (misfortune) and applying parallel Chiron (involving life and death matters with respect to spouse and child - peaking on December 26, 2002) - which clearly implies that his personal mission to permanently rectify his sick desires (Venus) and bring about a permanent disconnection to their union (Venus) through death, (Chiron) would ultimately meet with misfortune. He was not aware that anything involving Venus is always impermanent - and therefore his personal demented mission would eventually be discovered, unsuccessful, and only come back to haunt him.

Scott Peterson is Arrested for Double Homicide
on April 18, 2003
Below is Scott's Progressed Chart for April 18, 2003
On April 18, 2003, Scott was arrested for the murder of his wife and his unborn son (his wife, Laci, was eight months pregnant). Looking at his Progressed Chart for that date, the story unfolds with clarity, and is quite revealing. We see that progressed Uranus is applying at an activation angle to Scott's progressed Ascendant, bringing sudden notoriety and infamy (Uranus) to Scott Peterson (Ascendant) through the media (Uranus), and throwing a monkey wrench (activation angle) into the freedom and independence (Uranus) that Scott had been formerly enjoying. Interesting to note - this aspect was applying at an orb of 0.32 degrees and became EXACT (peaked) on April, 18th, 2003 - the day infamous Scott Peterson was arrested, and the day the press and media had a field day with the watching public over these latest developments in the Laci Peterson murder case. The bodies of both Laci and her unborn son (Connor) had been discovered just a few days earlier.
Another interesting aspect is Scott's progressed Jupiter applying square his Midheaven. His good fortune and success (Jupiter) had now run into serious difficulties (square) - with the law, and officers of the court (Jupiter) closing in on him, dishonoring his character, and his name (Midheaven). Interesting to note that this aspect was applying at an orb of 0.95 degrees and peaked on the EXACT day of his arrest also - April 18, 2003.

Scott Peterson Declinations
In the declinations above, we see progressed Saturn applying parallel Ascendant, peaking on April 21, 2003 - the exact day Scott Peterson was arraigned for double homicide. Restrictions and constrictions (Saturn) were placed upon him (Ascendant) as he was led into confinement (Saturn). Upon a closer look we can also note that both the Sun and the Moon were applying contra-parallel and parallel Saturn respectively, and becoming exact on 8/25/03 and 11/12/06 respectively. So we note that Sa/Mo (depression) has a ways to go before reaching fulfillment, and in light of the fact that his future no longer looks too bright, we would expect to see this configuration.

Laci Peterson's Progressed Chart for the Day of Her Murder: December 23, 2002
As witnessed in both the progressed longitudes and progressed declinations (below), we can see that Saturn is involved in some serious progressed configurations, making the day of December 23, 2002, a predestined day of tragedy for Laci. In the longitudes, we have an applying Jupiter/Saturn square - meaning an expansion (Jupiter) of what is harmful (Saturn) and a contraction (Saturn) of what is helpful (Jupiter). Frustration and diminished control, along with a total loss of vitality is present, and a negative progression such as this one can force problems to culminate before the progression peaks. This progression culminates on 12/22/05.
In the progressed declinations (below), we see Saturn contra-parallel Laci's progressed Ascendant, along with Saturn parallel to both Sun and Mercury. Saturn contra-parallel Ascendant peaked on 12/26/02, three days after the murder allegedly occurred, while her Sun/Mercury parallel Saturn culminates on 1/19/05 and 2/1/05 respectively. Lacy was both controlled and dominated by the influence of Saturn, and restrictions and limitations (Saturn) were imposed upon her very life that day, in addition to her essence and vitality (Sun and Ascendant respectively), while both her mobility and respiratory capacity (Mercury) were also severely compromised by Saturn's influence.
In the longitudes we see progressed Sun applying opposition her progressed Ascendant/Neptune conjunction, along with progressed Venus applying square Chiron, further supporting and adding confluence to the imbalance and impermanence (Venus) of the challenges (opposition/square) that this day (Sun) would bring - notably to factors concerning matters of longevity (Neptune), and matters concerning both life and death (Chiron).
